We have a dairy farm in a nearby quasi-rural area that delivers. And the milkman loves my dogs too! I've never had snow icecream, but I have been known to pour maple syrup over fresh snow and let it get "chewey" I got this from reading my Little House in the Big Woods book when I was a kid. Like her awesome kitchenaid stand mixer. When I went out on my own, got married, became an avid baker, I begged her for one. I told her "don't pay to fix my car, we have two. No, take the 3000 dollars and keep it, if you wanna buy me something, buy me a stand mixer" She told me I wouldn't want a kitchenaid stand mixer, she told me they're horrible, they suck, that the beater doesn't get into the corners of the bowl. But she didn't fool me, I'M the one she made to use the mixer when we cooked at her house!! She bought be a 10 dollar stand mixer from wal-mart and it freakin sucks. I know why she did it though. I'd love to leave it out, too, but as you know, counterspace is premium real estate! If you try out the hand-held FoodSaver, please blog about it. I'd love to know how it works.
